No invented medical reviewer
This website does not currently claim that pages have been medically reviewed by a doctor, pharmacist or other clinician. No individual medical reviewer was supplied for this project, and one will not be fabricated.
What we do instead
Health-related pages use cautious language, cite public-health and scientific sources, distinguish diagnosis/treatment from general education and flag circumstances in which professional evaluation is appropriate.
When medical review should be added
If the site owner later engages a qualified reviewer, the reviewer should have a real identity, relevant credentials, defined scope, review date and a way to verify the relationship. Pages should state what was reviewed rather than using a generic badge.
Not medical advice
Content cannot account for an individual's diagnoses, medicines, allergies, pregnancy status, procedures or examination findings. Readers should seek individualized advice when those factors matter.
